Default Moving to England – my advice

Hi Bob

I would like to add few things since Mike and Manny covered most of your question.

Depend on your shipping method: 20' container will be faster than lift van to reach London. The reason for that: shipping crate will be consolidating into 40' container and it takes a bit longer. The container have straight forward depart and arrival dates. Crate will an estimate time.

The cost of will be different from customer to customer depend the requirement of the shipper from the international movers. Packing, unpacking, loading' custom crates and the volume of your shipment will be the main factor for the price. We suggest to you to use the cubic feet calculator in order to determine the volume.

Marine insurance – we strongly suggest you to purchase all risk insurance. Please note – PBO – Pack by Owner boxes and items will not be insured for damages only for loses

Transformers: depend on the appliances – for some of them you can take transformers [stereo, blenders vacuum etc.], and for some of then I strongly advise not to mess with transformers [coffee maker, heater etc.]

Door to door service -I recommend to all to select this option from the international movers estimate sheet. It will save you lot of time and headache.

The best advice to you is to relax and to read the small words in the contract. It will save you time and money

Good luck

Dan
