Default Moving from UK to Australia

Hello,

I have found a place to live in Australia and my possessions are currently held in a storage centre in UK.

I am wondering if it would be possible for an international removalist to view my possessions at the storage centre (Essex, near London) and then provide a quotation for the task of removing my possessions from this location to my address in NSW, Australia. So door-to-door.

I would welcome receiving information from any providers of such a service and my e-mail address is eurojackson@hotmail.com

Thank you in advance.

Most removal companies in the UK will be able to provide you with a quotation based on the size of your storage locker. Also note that the majority of the storage centres in the UK are also handled by removalists, so it can truly be a one stop shop.

Ask them first, then you will need to get comparative rates for the removal. Remember, when going to another removalist that is not storing your items, the access to the facility may not be the best and you should let them know. Also note that you will most probably need to provide authorization to the storage centre to allow a surveyor access to the items if they do require to go out and see the items.

Note that obtaining the rate should be fairly simple as UK-Australia is a very strong trade lane for removals.

Best of luck.
