Default Moving from USA(florida) to Australia(sydney)

hey my name is Lucas and I'm moving to Sydney in 2009 with my girl friend. She is a Australian citizen and I am a American citizen, Her whole family lives there but her and her mom/step dad(navy). What do we need to do to get prepared for the move? What about prices of the move?

Smile moving to Sydney

Hi Lucas

2009 ??? well it's a long time and it's will not be wise to plan and to worry from now. lots of things can happen from now and than and companies will not provide you with accurate estimate to 2009. on a personal note - I hope that by 2009 you might get married and things on the immigration side will be lot easier for you.

by 2009 you can read lots of information about moving to Australia. but here some advise from me:
check what is profitable to ship and size of beds and other furniture's. houses in USA in most cases are larger.

create Successful Garage Sale - do not ship junk it cost money.
use our on line cubic feet calculator in order to estimate your volume of shipping.
please see our image gallery to get the idea of shipping and also you can view our blog Moving to Australia

please note: I don't think that movers will get back you with the estimate. 99% of the movers will tell you that this is too early to get an estimate.

thank you

Dan
