Self Storage Vs Moving company storage - interstate move

we going to move this summer - interstate move, and we will need to store our house for 3 months, until the new home will be ready. we have 2 options: to have self storage and to store our things with the moving company.
can you please let me what are your thoughts about it.

like in other things there is a need to cover all the options and our needs:
if you need access to your thing during this time I would recommend self storage. how ever please note: Long distance moving companies will provide you a free storage up to 1 month, and from experience if they really want your business - they will give you another month.
