self storage or moving services

hi,

I have 3 bedrooms house and got 2 kids. in the summer we about to move to 5 bedroom house however I will need to store my household goods for 2 months.
my question is what will be better for me to do: self storage or to have moving companies to store it for me?

what will be the best choice

3 bedrooms house with 2 kids - its a lot to pack for self storage.
with all do respect I think you will cause lots of damage to your belonging if you don't know how to pack properly. my suggestion is to select moving companies that can store yopu house in storage boxes, large ones. there is 2 options that movers can select


Some movers can bring flatbed truck with the storage boxes on them and load you house direct to them and some will take your house on the truck and load it in their warehouse. of course that the first option is better.

i advise you in your case not to take by yourself to self storage.

I think you are right I tried to pack the kitchen and it took me forever to pack just one cabinet
I better pay extra more and to have a peace of mind. I have found out the packing and moving is very stressful
